Seawit Participates in GOED Exchange 2026 as Platinum Sponsor
Singapore | 17–19 March 2026
Seawit was pleased to participate in GOED Exchange 2026 as a Platinum Sponsor, joining global leaders, researchers, ingredient suppliers, and brand owners from across the Omega-3 industry.
Held at the Shangri-La Singapore, GOED Exchange is widely recognized as the leading international forum dedicated to EPA and DHA Omega-3 nutrition. Organized by GOED (the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s), the event brings together key stakeholders from across the value chain to discuss scientific advances, market trends, regulatory developments, and future opportunities for the industry.
Supporting Industry Progress Through Collaboration
As Platinum Sponsor of GOED Exchange 2026, Seawit was proud to contribute to discussions focused on the future of Omega-3 innovation and global industry collaboration.
Throughout the event, our team engaged with partners, researchers, and customers from more than 30 countries, exchanging perspectives on ingredient development, supply chain resilience, sustainability, and emerging consumer needs.
These conversations highlighted the growing importance of scientific collaboration and value-chain partnerships in driving the next generation of nutritional solutions.
Sharing Perspectives on Supply Chain Innovation
During a dedicated forum on supply chain challenges and opportunities, Seawit shared insights into its approach to collaborative innovation across the Omega-3 value chain.
By working closely with research institutions, manufacturing partners, and customers, Seawit continues to explore new ways to develop lipid solutions that address evolving nutritional requirements while supporting product performance and quality.
The discussion also highlighted recent developments in structured lipid technologies, including SN-2 DHA, an area receiving increasing attention for its potential role in nutrient delivery and absorption.
Scientific Focus on SN-2 DHA
One of the scientific highlights of GOED Exchange 2026 was the presentation by Professor Kaisa Linderborg of the University of Turku, Finland, titled “Omega-3s as a 3D Concept.”
The session explored how the positional structure of DHA within triglycerides may influence digestion, absorption and metabolism. Research presented during the conference indicated that DHA located at the SN-2 position may offer distinct advantages in digestive stability and nutrient utilisation compared with alternative molecular arrangements.
During her presentation, Professor Linderborg also referenced Seawit's work in the field of SN-2 DHA and recognised the company's contributions to advancing the understanding and industrial application of structured lipid technologies. Her remarks highlighted the growing scientific interest in SN-2 DHA and reinforced the importance of continued collaboration between academic research and industry innovation.
As interest in structured lipids continues to grow, these discussions further demonstrated the importance of ongoing research and innovation in Omega-3 nutrition.
Connecting with the Global Omega-3 Community
Beyond the conference programme, GOED Exchange provided valuable opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new connections across the industry.
The event enabled meaningful discussions with ingredient suppliers, researchers, manufacturers and brand owners, reinforcing the importance of cooperation across the entire Omega-3 ecosystem.
Looking Ahead
GOED Exchange 2026 provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration and industry engagement.
Seawit would like to thank GOED, fellow participants and industry partners for the insightful discussions throughout the event.
We look forward to continuing our work with partners around the world and contributing to the ongoing development of high-quality nutritional solutions based on science, innovation and responsible manufacturing.
